Met dit project, ontstaan uit zijn eigen 'muzikale identiteitscrisis', overstijgt hij traditionele genres en creert hij een sound die zowel grensverleggend als intutief is. Samen met zijn collectief, bestaande uit een strijkkwartet, producer synths en drums, streeft Scherpen ernaar muziek te maken die diepe gevoelens overbrengt
